Simplifying customer navigation around a busy shopping centre
Spencer Outlet Centre initially contacted Designable to audit the current signage at the centre. We proposed suggestions on how to resolve problematic areas of wayfinding with new signage fit out ideas.
In order to maximise the many qualities that this shopping centre has and attract customers through the door, the design and positioning of the signs needed to be simplified to guide the customer effortlessly around the building.
The result was simple but effective. The black and white colour scheme was chosen for it's high contrast to allow ease of legibility. Signs were removed where they were in excess and the new design shows concise messaging that is relevant to the location and navigation path.
